Dear Fellow Members,
As we enter the holiday season, I am reminded of what makes Conestoga Country Club so special, the people. Our members, our employees, and the shared sense of community we enjoy together create something truly unique. It is a culture built on support, kindness, and genuine appreciation for one another.
Each year, the Coworkers Holiday Fund gives us the opportunity to reflect on that spirit of giving back to the team that makes this club feel like home. From the golf course, golf operations and Pro Shop to the kitchen, pool, dining room, and maintenance areas, our employees show up every day with dedication, pride, and care for our members and guests. This fund allows us to give something meaningful in return, helping them create a brighter and more enjoyable holiday season for themselves and their families.
Last year, through the generosity of our membership, we raised more than $31,000 for the Coworkers Holiday Fund. The impact of that support was deeply felt by our staff and their families, and it truly reflected the heart of this club. This year, I invite every member to once again consider contributing to the fund. No gift is too small, and every dollar goes directly to our hardworking staff. The fund is distributed in December, with amounts determined by performance and tenure, a sincere gesture of thanks from the membership for all they do throughout the year.
To contribute, you may complete the electronic form sent via email or drop your donation off in the Golf Shop by Sunday, December 14. On behalf of the Board of Governors, thank you for continuing to support the people who make Conestoga a place we are proud to call our club.
With gratitude,
Chris Naftzger
President, Board of Governors
